Hello! I’m Daniella, an English and Drama student residing in East London.

I began this blog in June 2016 to ease my boredom during a summer away from the city, and to begin writing about what I enjoy and know best – theatre. Since then, I’ve been writing reviews, think pieces, and conducting interviews with people in the sector.

Aside from this blog, I am the secretary for Queen Mary Theatre Company, and have directed and performed in shows for them too. In the autumn, I’ll be producing ‘Richard III’ for Pentire Street Productions.

I’m one of the judges for the London Student Theatre Awards and am about to start stewarding at Shakespeare’s Globe. I’ve also worked with the Barbican Centre, producing three videos for their YouTube channel as part of their ‘Young Reviewers’ programme.

In short… I’m a big fan of Shakespeare and musical theatre, and can usually be found wearing dungarees and/or glitter whilst tweeting a GIF from an iconic teen film.

After graduation, I’m aiming to go into the arts sector, working in arts journalism or PR/Marketing, but I’m open to where life takes me!
